The Challenge

The insurer is considering whether to develop a new business requiring a major pivot - Go/No Go?

Methodology

We put in place an ad hoc protocol based on a survey and analysis of trends related to this activity, supplemented by individual interviews and focus groups, as well as a quantitative survey of a selected target group. Our analysis closely integrated the results of qualitative and quantitative studies to provide a global vision. We also incorporated the findings of our TrendsLab Observatory, which is able to identify the major aspirational dynamics underway, without falling into the trap of collecting short-term events and trends.

Outputs

Our recommendation was acted upon and our client appreciated our ability to say 'no', backed up by clear and unambiguous reasoning. We also delivered a 6-minute film.
